Like the depth gadget in all windows, this will move TP to the back/front of the display, depending on it's current position (infont/behind other windows). Hold down shift and click the depth gadget if you want to send TP to the back regardless of it's current position within other windows. Take a look at Related Issues / "Known Problems" on the left for a note on the dragbar/closegad/etc customs gadgets - not really a problem, but it doesn't help the cosmetics of TP when they are being selected.
